Andrew and Samantha had a beautiful day for their wedding back in September of 2021. The skies were clear when I arrived at Mitchell Pond Farm, and everything was being set up to make their day perfect. There were some hiccups however throughout the day. I was getting over bronchitis, and physically I felt completely fine until I had to walk somewhere because I could barely breathe! If I walked too fast or too far, I was gasping for air (Remembering this makes me cringe hard! Luckily Betsy was helping second shoot that day.)! Samantha's shoes were missing, so new ones were bought and brought to her before the ceremony. The caterer was late (the food was so delicious btw), and then it started to rain at the end of the ceremony. But even with all the hiccups, the day was so memorable, and everything came together for a perfect day.
I wanted to explain a few pictures before you get the chance to look through them:
- The drawing was Samantha's gift to Andrew. It's of the two of them with their puppies.
- The bride's brother was unable to attend the wedding, and he and Samantha were able to talk via facetime (I think) right after the ceremony and the moment was very emotional. Samantha and her sisters also had a picture taken with him in a framed photo.
- The Dunder Mifflin Dundee Award trophy refers to their love of "The Office".
- Andrew's socks looked like a Taco Bell Hot Sauce packet. He was super proud of them! :-)
